Small Business:Riding the Waves
Lately I have been using a metaphor in my coaching that centers around the idea of sailing a small boat vs. sailing a big one. If you have any boating experience, you know that a small boat is quick and agile. It is also susceptible to more rolls and waves, because it is small. On the other hand, a big boat turns slower, and may not be as agile- but you feel the waves less.
